Sari Oister is digital artist and photographer based in Rochester, NY.  Her work focuses predominantly on exploring the purgatory between empowerment and entrapment as a woman.  Often using herself and her lived experiences as the subject, Oister plays with the idea of being your own voyeur and the performance of feminine tropes to develop both vignettes of human experience and versions of herself or others morphed into icons of womanhood.

Oister has received a BFA in Advertising Photography and an MBA with a focus on Digital Marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
